Welwyn Hatfield CAB is looking to
recruit reception / admin volunteers and
telephone advisers / advisers.
Speaking about their work, one
volunteer said: “I really enjoy meeting
all the people at the CAB, clients as well as
other volunteers. It is really nice to know I can
be of help to the local community around me.”
An open morning will be taking place
to recruit more volunteers at Queensway House,
Queensway, Hatfield, on 17th March
between 10am and noon. For more information, call

The CAB service is 70 years old. To
help celebrate this occasion a history of the
Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City bureaux has been
compiled. This book, with a foreword by The Most
Honourable the Marquess of Salisbury, has many
colour photographs and contains 140 pages.
A donation of
£5 is recommended or £6 if posted. The revenue
generated by this book will all go towards bureau
